Trips are catered to all ability levels from the beginner powder skier to the experienced backcountry enthusiast. Allow our highly skilled and certified guides to find exactly the right terrain at just the right pace for you. And remember, for every step you climb, there’s an equal distance of amazing snow going down!
Groups are expected to arrive prepared for ski touring. This means all guests must be equipped with proper ski touring bindings, climbing skins, powder skis (or split board), along with avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe. Also required for your day is a backpack big enough for extra layers, lunch and water. Don’t have your own gear? No problem – just make sure to give us enough time to arrange the right rental equipment from one of Golden s outdoor sporting goods stores, and you’re on your way.
With guided day packages starting from only $375, the remote backcountry has never been so accessible. Flexibility is our forte – help us create the heli-touring program that is tailored to your group’s needs. You can even opt to add additional helicopter lifts to any package to get the most downhill time out of your powder experience.
Basic Package $375 per person
A full day of backcountry ski touring accessed via the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort gondola with helicopter pick up at the end of your day.
Classic Package $550 per person
A full day of ski touring starts with a 15 min flight from Golden to a remote valley in the Purcells. Begin with a heli-drop and some epic downhill turns. Spend your day ski touring in this remote area until the helicopter returns to fly you and your friends back to Golden at the PHS base.
Deluxe Package $790 per person
This package was designed with going downhill in mind. Similar to a 3 run heli-ski day, but combined with the mountaineering experience of ski touring, allowing you to get more skiing from your day.
