| Safety
is our prime concern. PHS highly trained guides
and pilots do as best they can to keep their guests
from exposure to potential hazards. However, risks
associated with heli-skiing / heli- snowboarding cannot
be entirely eliminated.
Guests must acknowledge
this fact and are required to sign a release
of liability / acceptance of risks agreement.
All skiers / boarders receive safety
briefings on their first day, prior to boarding the
helicopter. These include procedures to follow for
helicopter hazard management, as well as instruction
in the use of avalanche transceivers.
| Exclusion
of Liability - Assumption of Risks
Please Read Carefully! |
Wilderness
skiing and snowboarding involve risks, dangers
and hazards in addition to those normally
associated with downhill skiing and snowboarding
at a ski area. These risks, dangers and hazards
are outlined in our Release of Liability and
Assumption of Risks Agreement which all guests
are requested to read and required to sign
before participating in our wilderness skiing
program. This agreement will affect your legal
rights should you be involved in an accident.
Copies of the agreement are available from
our office and by clicking
here.
