| Combining terrain
knowledge and snow expertise, our guiding team follows
a strict set of procedures
in order to evaluate the stability of the snowpack.
On-going observations of weather,
snow layers and avalanche occurrence, along with regular
field tests, are discussed among the guides every
day in order to assess the avalanche hazard
and determine appropriate ski terrain.
In addition, relevant information
is exchanged with other helicopter / snowcat skiing
operations through the daily Industry
Information Exchange provided by the Canadian
Avalanche Association.
